Wrap-A-Friend Coat Drive
Kids Care
Mission
The mission of the Wrap-A-Friend Coat Drive is to provide warm winter clothing to anyone
in need.

What We Do
We will collect all the donated winter coats May 1st - 12th, 2006 from all our co-sponsors.
Throughout the spring and summer; we clean and repair any coat in need. We do not give
away coats that we would not give to a family member.

Who Receives the Winter Coats
100 % of all the winter coats that we give away will go to homeless families or individuals
and those in shelters. Agencies that we contribute to are:
  • Crossroads
  • Providence Center
  • Welcome Arnold Shelter
  • Child Inc.
+ As well as our distribution day on the first Saturday in November, which serves Rhode
Island residents in need.
Goals:
  1. To develop our Kids Care program which involves all schools in each school district.
  2. To find a building to store and work in while we inspect clean, repair, and distribute the
    winter coats.
