Wrap-A-Friend Coat Drive
Kids Care
Mission
The mission of the Wrap-A-Friend Coat Drive is to provide warm winter clothing to anyone
in need regardless of race, religion or economic status.

What We Do
We will collect all the donated winter coats May 14th - 18th, 2008 from all our co-sponsors.
Throughout the spring and summer; we clean and repair any coat in need. We do not give
away coats that we would not give to a family member.

Who Receives the Winter Coats
100 % of all the winter coats that we give away will go to homeless families or individuals
and those in shelters. Some of the agencies that we contribute to are:
  • Crossroads
  • Providence Center
  • Welcome Arnold Shelter
  • Child Inc.
+ Our distribution day on Saturday, November 15, 2008 will serve Rhode Island residents in
need (
see our 2008 flier).
Goals:
  1. To develop our Kids Care program which involves all schools in each school district.
  2. To find a building to store and work in while we inspect clean, repair, and distribute the
    winter coats.
